Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Friday announced he has tested COVID-19 negative.

Adityanath, who announced on Apr 14 that he was tested positive for the virus, took to twitter to share his health information.

"Due to the good wishes of the people and care of doctors, I have tested negative for the COVID-19. Thank you for the cooperation and best wishes given to me by all of you," Adityanath tweeted in Hindi.

On Apr 13, the CM had informed that he had gone in isolation as several of the officials of CM office were tested positive for Corona.

Though the CM was doing his day to day work without any interruption virtually from his official residence, the state authorities had reserved a private room in the SGPGI for the CM, he had required.

The CM had also received the first dose of Covid vaccine early this month.
