UPSC declares result for civil services examination 2020, Shubham Kumar emerges topper

New Delhi/IBNS: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Friday declared the results of the civil services examination for the year 2020.

A total of 761 candidates have cleared the coveted civil services examination 2020.

Engineering graduates Shubham Kumar and Jagrati Awasthi bagged the first and second ranks respectively.

The written part of Civil Services Examination, 2020 was held by the Union Public Service Commission in January, 2021 and the interviews for Personality Test was held in August-September.

All those who have qualified will be eligible for appointment to the Indian Administrative Service and Indian Foreign Service.

Appointment to the various services will be made according to the number of vacancies available with due consideration to the provisions contained in the rules for the examination.
