Uttar Pradesh: Two youths die as bike falls into ditch

Ballia: Two people were killed when a motorcycle slipped on a culvert and fell into a ditch in Rasra area of Ballia district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Saturday.

Police sources said the incident took place when Bhuwal Paswan (35), a resident of Pali village, along with Naushad Ahmad (30) was returning back to his village late on Friday night.

"During this their motorcycle slipped and fell into the ditch," they said.

"Bhuwal and Naushad sustained serious injuries in the incident," they said.

Police sources told UNI the injured were taken to the community health center Rasra where doctors declared them dead.

Sub-Inspector SK Shukla said the bodies have been sent for post mortem examination.
