Veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Lal Krishna Advani was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi again on Wednesday night, media reports said.

This comes days after the former deputy prime minister was discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after a night-long stay there on June 27.

The 96-year-old politician is said to be stable and kept under observation, said reports.

Lal Krishna Advani was the 7th Deputy Prime Minister of India from 2002 to 2004.

One of the founding leaders of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and a member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), he was also the Home Minister of India and a recipient of Bharat Ratna.
