Vice President greets people on Ganesh Chaturthi

New Delhi, Sept 4 (IBNS): Vice President of India M. Hamid Ansari has greeted the people of thecountry on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.

In a message, he said: “I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of ‘Ganesh Chaturthi’ marking the birth of Lord Ganesh."

"In our country Lord Ganesh is revered as an embodiment of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune. Invoking Lord Ganesh before start of any good work and project is a common practice across our country," Ansari said.

"May this festival bring peace, harmony and prosperity in our country,” added the Vice President.
