Kolkata/Murshidabad, Oct 3 (IBNS): Two Congress supporters were killed in a bomb attack blamed on the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Saturday during a re-poll in Patharbati Gram Panchayat under Hariharpara Police Station in Murshidabad district of West Bengal, reports said.

According to reports, the killed Congress supporters were identified as Imdadul Sk and Fuktar Ali.

However, denying all allegations against them, local TMC leaders said that the Congress supporters were killed while making bombs.

Meanwhile, three voters- Raja Mullick, Rahul Hena and Shuklal Karmakar- were injured by bullets and bombs in Asansol area in West Bengal's Burdwan district. Miscreants allegedly fired  bullets and threw bombs indiscriminately during the election in Asansol Municipal Corporation on Saturday.

Sustaining bullet injuries, they have been admitted to hospital in critical conditions.

Police have started investigations into both incidents and nobody has been arrested so far.
