WB govt does not utilise funds: Rahul

| | May 09, 2014, at 03:26 am
Ghatal, May 8 (IBNS): Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said the West Bengal government did not utilise the huge fund sent by the Centre to the state.

"We send lots of funds here....Still  she (Mamata Banerjee) says that we are not sending money. The fact is that they do not utilise the funds," Gandhi said while addressing a rally here.

Attacking the Left parties, Gandhi said the idea of the Left was 'way too old' and it has been abolished in several nations across the globe.

He said the Congress thinks about both development and improving the state of poor people in the country.

"We think about development, industry and even helping the poor people of the country," he said.
