WB: Parents and grandmother arrested for killing baby girl in Nadia

Kolkata/Nadia, Jan 5 (IBNS): The police on Tuesday arrested three for killing a baby girl at Santipur area in West Bengal's Nadia district, reports said.
According to reports, a one-month-old baby girl- Kabita- went missing since Dec 31 from her house. Her parents told the locals that she had been taken away by fox or other animal.
 
However, her dead body, which was packed inside a black clout, was found from a pond nearby on Tuesday morning.
 
After starting investigation into the case, the police arrested her father Ramprasad Biswas, mother Champa Biswas and grandmother for allegedly killing the child.
 
They would be produced at a local court on Wednesday.
