West Bengal accident: Dumper crushes four persons
Barddhaman/UNI: A dumper crushed four persons, including three members of a family, to death on National Highway 2 in Purba Barddhaman district of West
Bengal on Sunday.
According to police, the accident reportedly took place when the daily- wagers werecrossing the highway to catch a bus to their workplace in Bankura district when a Kolkata-bound dumper ran over them and fled the spot.
The three family members were taken to a state-run hospital, where doctors declared them dead. The fourth person later succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at another hospital, a senior police official said.
