Kolkata/UNI: A first time voter, aged about 18-20, died after gunmen attacked him from behind at a voter line in Sitalkuchi, Cooch Behar while polling in the fourth phase of the West Bengal Assembly polls is currently underway on Saturday.

The family members of the victim have alleged that the TMC goons attacked him and killed while he was standing on a queue to cast vote at a booth under Sitalkuchi assembly seat.

They said as the victim was standing on the queue along with other family members, a group of TMC men suddenly attacked with guns and bombs and the victim while trying to flee was hit by a bullet.

They said they were the BJP supporters and attackers were the TMC men as they told the investigating police officials.

Local police officials have rushed to the hospital where the body of the youth was lying at the emergency ward.
