West Bengal: Several hurt as state bus overturns in Purulia

Kolkata/Purulia, Mar 2 (IBNS): A government-run bus reportedly fell into a roadside ditch in West Bengal's Purulia district on Thursday morning, leaving at least 12 persons injured.

According to reports, Jamshedpur (Jharkhand) bound SBSTC (South Bengal State Transport Corporation) bus from Durgapur suddenly lost control and overturned on NH-60A near Bankapul area in Purulia district.

At least 12 passengers of the bus were injured in the accident and were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Police has seized the government-run bus.
