New Delhi, Aug 3 (IBNS) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said if the Delhi Assembly polls are currently conducted then his party will win 40 seats.

"If polls are conducted now then the AAP will win 40 seats. If it is conducted in October then we will get 50 and 55 in February," Kejriwal said while addressing a rally here.

He said a door-to-door campaign will be launched if the Delhi assembly was not dissolved within a week.

"If within a week the Delhi Assembly is not dissolved then door-to-door signature campaign will be launched in order to demand for dissolution of the assembly,"  he said.

After remaining in power for 49 days, Kejriwal resigned as the Delhi Chief Minister as his AAP government-backed Jan Lokpal bill was not tabled in the Delhi Assembly on Feb 14.
