New Delhi: A woman was thrown off her two-wheeler and landed on a pillar after a car hit her vehicle on an elevated road in Noida, media reports said.

The dramatic escape was captured on camera, revealing how she narrowly avoided serious injury, possibly death, as she did not fall on the busy road below, reported NDTV

The incident occurred on Saturday when the woman was riding her scooter towards Sector 62 from Sector 18.

After being hit by a car, she was flung over the railing but landed on a flat-topped pillar.

Two men attempted to rescue her but became stuck on the pillar as well.

Videos show police, fire brigade officials, and a fire engine arriving at the scene.

Firefighters used a hydraulic platform to reach the woman, lifting her to safety and transferring her to a waiting ambulance.

The same platform was used to rescue the two men.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Noida) Manish Mishra confirmed that all of them were rescued without serious injuries.

He also stated that the WagonR, which hit the woman’s vehicle, had been impounded, and further action would be taken after recording her statement.
