Thiruvanthapuram, Mar 28l (IBNS) : Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee acting president M M Hassan has reportedly said that women should not enter any place of worship during menstruation, CNN-News 18 reported.

Haasan made the comments on Monday while speaking at a media camp organized by the youth welfare board. The participants of the camp were media students.

He  said women are "impure" during that period.

However, objecting to his observation, students asked him what he thought impure? Blood or the organ it came from?

They further said that if Hassan thought both are impure then he also consider himself as impure as the came from the same organ and blood.
