L'Oréal Paris ambassador Aishwarya Rai Bachchan yet again garnered all attention as she made her third appearance at amfAR Gala in Festival de Cannes. For her final look, she sported L’Or Lumière inspired makeup with a strong red-lip and turquoise eyes. She highlighted her eyes with multiple coats of mascara and wore her hair open with soft curls. The luminous makeup perfectly accentuated the gold in her stunning shimmering gown. The Day 8 (May 21, 2014) of the 67th Festival De Cannes 2014 saw L'Oréal Paris ambassador Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wow one and all, as she walked the red carpet, looking scintillating in a white and silver gown. Wearing her hair open, Aishwarya gave a twist to the regular smoke-eye by adding a pop of blue to it and finished the look with a shiny nude lip color. L'Oréal Paris ambassadors Barbara Palvin and Lara Stone also walked the red carpet and impressed everyone with their sleek gowns and glamorous make-up. It was a glamorous Day 4 (May 17, 2014) at Festival De Cannes as L'Oréal Paris ambassadors Freida Pinto, Eva Longoria, Natasha Poly, Isabeli Fontana and Tais Araujo walked the red carpet. Renowned Indian screen and stage actor Naseeruddin Shah on Friday (May 3, 2014) commemorating the 93rd birth anniversary of legendary Indian filmmaker Satyajit Ray, released an un-filmed visual script written by Ray. The script edited in the form of a book by Sandip Ray was released at the ICCR’s Rabindranath Tagore Centre, in Kolkata. The visual script 'Satyajit Ray’s Ravi Shankar', comprises articles by Ray and interviews of Ravi Shankar on various aspects of their collaboration, and a scholarly introduction by Sankarlal Bhattacharjee on the relationship between the two maestros. Popular Indian pop, jazz and playback singer Usha Uthup on Monday (Apr 28, 2014) lent her voice to record the theme song of the upcoming Bengali movie 'Gogoler Kirti' in Kolkata. The film is directed by Pompi Ghosh Mukherjee and produced by Supratik Ghosh. Uthup recorded the theme song 'Go Gogol Go' in the presence of music director Surojit Chatterjee at her own studio 'Studio Vibrations'. Penned by new talent Tapan Mukherjee, a member of Surojit Chatterjee’s virtual poetry club 'Kobita Club', the song is a fusion of disco and trance.
