'12th Fail' is submitted for Oscars 2024, reveals Vikrant Massey

Mumbai/IBNS: Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra's recently released film '12th Fail', which has earned critical acclaim, has been submitted for Oscars 2024, revealed actor Vikrant Massey.

Vikrant, who featured as a lead in the film, revealed this at an event of India Today.

The actor said '12th Fail', which has also created a splash in the box office, has been submitted as an independent nomination.

'12th Fail' is based on the 2019 book by Anurag Pathak about the life of Manoj Kumar Sharma, who battled poverty to become an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer.

The film, which stars Medha Shankar in the co-lead, was released on October 27.
