Mumbai/ Beijing, Dec 22 (IBNS): Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's Thugs of Hindostan will release in China on Dec 28.

The movie had failed to perform strongly in India.

It released during Diwali celebrations this year.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: " After a poor show in India, #ThugsOfHindostan will release on 28 Dec in #China... Aamir Khan enjoys a massive following, while #Dangal and #SecretSuperstar did exceptional biz there... Will be interesting to see how the Chinese audience responds to #TOH."

Khan's earlier movies like Dangal and Secreta Superstar had earned appreciations from the Chinese audience.

Thugs of Hindostan also features actors Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif.
