Kolkata/IBNS: The character poster of Bengali actor Raima Sen from the upcoming film Phool Pishi O Edward was unveiled by Windows Production on Friday.

Raima Sen’s vintage avatar revealed

The poster presents Raima in an elegant, vintage avatar, exuding grace and intrigue—hinting at a layered narrative in this much-anticipated mystery drama.

Character Aditi promises depth

Raima is introduced as Aditi, with a timeless aesthetic marked by intricate traditional styling, rich textures, and a poised yet enigmatic expression—suggesting a pivotal role in unraveling the film’s central mystery.

First collaboration with acclaimed directors

Directed by the celebrated duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, the film marks Raima Sen’s first collaboration with the duo.

Raima shares her experience

Speaking about working with the directors, Raima said, “After 25 years, when they finally thought of me, I truly loved it. I didn’t know what to expect at first—I had heard so much about them and imagined they would be a very strict directing duo.

“But when I met Nandita Roy, I saw someone completely different—she was just like a mother. So affectionate, gentle, polite, quiet, and incredibly kind.”

“She really looked after me throughout. And Shiboprosad Mukherjee is such a chilled-out director—so calm and easygoing. It was an absolute joy working with both of them.

“The entire cast got along beautifully, and the shoot wrapped up before I could even realise it. Despite shooting so much, it never felt exhausting. It was truly a wonderful experience, and I would love to work with them again and again,” she added.

Release date announced

The film is slated to hit theatres on May 29, 2026.
