Actor Narendra Jha of Raees fame passes away after suffering massive cardiac arrest
Mumbai, Feb 14 (IBNS): Film and television actor Narendra Jha, known for his work in films such as Raees, Haider and Kaabil among others, passed away on Wednesday following a severe heart attack, according to media reports.
The actor, 55, was recuperating in his farm house at Wada after suffering from a minor attack a few days ago, media reports said.
“Narendra Jha passed away at his farmhouse in Wada this morning at about 5 AM. He suffered a massive heart attack," reported Indianexpress.com quoting the actor's family.
Narendra Jha began his career with the television industry; Begusarai, Ek Ghar Banaunga, Supercops vs Supervillains were some of his popular shows.
He entered Bollywood in 2012 with Funtoosh.
Shyam Benegal cast him in Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose: The Last Hero.
His role as Dr Hilal Meer, Shahid Kapoor’s on-screen dad in Haider, was much applauded.
He was also seen in movies such as Force 2, Kaabul, Mohenjo Daro, Ghayal Once Again and Humari Adhuri Kahaani.
Father: Tale Of Love (2016) was his last film while on television, he was last seen in 2015's Tu Con Mai Con, reported NDTV.
Jha was recently seen shooting for Salman Khan’s Race 3, reported Indian Express.

Tweeted actor Rajpal Yadav, "Working With Him Was A wonderful experience. I can't believe we were just filming together a couple of days ago. Really saddened by the passing of #NarendraJha."
