Amid goof-up the Oscar goes to Moonlight, La La Land wins in six category
Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway read the wrong information announcing that “La La Land” had won when, in fact, “Moonlight” was the best picture.
While the speech of the “La La Land”’s producers were being delivered, it was announced that the winner was “Moonlight.” Beatty had mistakenly read the winning card for Emma Stone as he claimed he got the wrong envelope.

La La Land, the film starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone telling the story of a musician and an aspiring actress who meet and fall in love in Los Angeles, however won big otherwise.
The biggest night of Hollywood - the 89th Academy Awards- was hosted at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
Jimmy Kimmel, the host of the show, also took the opportunity to attack at President Donald Trump and even live-tweeted him.
“Manchester by the Sea” took best original screenplay and best actor for Casey Affleck, according to reports.
Indian origin actor Dev Patel could not clinch the Oscars in the best supporting actor category.
He missed it to "Moonlight" star Mahershala Ali.
Patel had won the nomination in the category for his performance in Garth Davis "Lion."
