Amitabh Bachchan admitted to hospital: Reports
Mumbai: Acting legend and Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to hospital earlier this week, several media reports claimed.
Bachchan, 77, had himself said he is surviving on 25% of his liver as the rest was damaged due to wrong blood transfusion two decades ago.
The blood transfusion was needed after he suffered an injury while shooting for Coolie in 1983.
Bachchan, who turned 77 last week, was, however, active on social media on Thursday.
On the occasion of festival Karvachauth, the veteran actor tweeted a couple of images featuring his actress wife Jaya Bachchan.
In one picture, he had said, "quite obviously the other half is irrelevant .. and therefore unseen."
