Anupam Kher's The Kashmir Files is creating a 'tsunami' at Box Office

Mumbai: Actor Anupam Kher's latest movie The Kashmir Files is continuing its strong run at the Box Office as the film earned Rs. 60 crores till Tuesday.

The movie earned Rs. 18 crores at the Box Office on Tuesday.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#TheKashmirFiles is a TSUNAMI at the #BO… FANTASTIC TRENDING, as footfalls, occupancy, numbers continue to soar… Day 5 higher than *all* previous days… BLOCKBUSTER... Fri 3.55 cr, Sat 8.50 cr, Sun 15.10 cr, Mon 15.05 cr, Tue 18 cr. Total: ₹ 60.20 cr. #India biz."

Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files, a film based on video interviews of the first generation victims of the Kashmiri Pandit community's genocide in 1990, opened in theatres on Friday with a promising box office figure amid a rave review by the audience among whom it touched an emotional chord.

Apart from Kher, the film also features Darshan Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Joshi.
