Veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai's Mukta Arts recently held a special cast and crew screening for its fifth Marathi production, Amaira.

The event brought together the film's creative minds and was graced by notable personalities like Jackie Shroff from Entertainment and patronised by our Culture Minister Ashish Shelar.

The screening exuded anticipation for Mukta Arts' expanding Marathi portfolio. Subhash Ghai, the chairman of Mukta Arts personally welcomed guests, expressing his enthusiasm for Amaira and highlighting the production house's continued commitment to regional cinema.

Adding a distinguished presence to the evening was Ashish Shelar who praised Ghai and his backing for regional cinema.

He said "I'm feeling great today because Marathi cinema, Marathi directors, and our culture are making their mark everywhere. The more we showcase our culture, the bigger our achievements will be.

"When big director-producers like Subhash Ghai, who has taken on various roles, have stars like Sai Godbole emerging from institutes like Whistling Woods, it's a matter of pride for all of us. Everyone should continue to promote it as much as possible."

Ashish Shelar presented a token of appreciation to all actors and techies of Amaira with a cheering audience who loved the film. Subhash Ghai Ji is also my neighbour, and this production house is running under the name of Mukta Tai.

"Heartfelt congratulations to everyone, and my request to all is that our Marathi cinema culture continues to flourish so that future generations can also witness it."

Talking about his excitement Shubhash Ghai said, "Amaira is not just a story; it's a slice of life that reflects the emotional journeys we all experience. I hope it resonates with everyone, strengthening the power of meaningful cinema in our regional languages."
