Kolkata/IBNS: Bengali actress Subhashree Ganguly became the mother of a baby boy on Saturday, the Tollywood star informed on Twitter.

Ganguly said in the micro-blogging site that she and her filmmaker husband Raj Chakraborty have welcomed a baby boy, who has been named as Yuvaan.

"We are blessed with a baby boy!! YUVAAN says “Hello” to you all ..." the actress tweeted.

Reacting to the news, senior Bengali actor Jeet tweeted, "A big congratulations to @subhashreesotwe and @iamrajchoco for having a new member in the family."

"Awwwwleeee..chumuuuuuu," reacted Tollywood actor Ankush Hazra on Twitter.

Several fans of Subhashree were worried about her health as Chakraborty weeks ago had tested positive for Covid-19.

However, Ganguly had tested negative for the virus.
