Bhushan Kumar joins Vashu Bhagnani in producing Sarbjit

Mumbai, Feb 3 (IBNS) Post the success of Airlift and Baby, Bhushan Kumar has now joined fellow producer Vashu Bhagnani in producing Sarbjit, a biopic on the farmer who reportedly crossed the borders while in an inebriated sate and was taken as a prisoner by Pakistan.

Sarbjit Singh died in jail under mysterious circumstances while awaiting release.   

Sarbjit stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadda and Darshan Kumar.

It is directed by Omung Kumar and is produced jointly by Vashu Bhagnani, Bhushan Kumar, Sandeep Singh and Omung Kumar.

The film is slated to release in mid 2016.
