Mumbai/IBNS: After Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone, actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas has accepted World Health Organisation (WHO) director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus' "Safe Hands" challenge amid the spread of the deadly Novel Coronavirus across the country.

In a video which was shared Priyanka on Twitter, the Bollywood superstar was seen washing her hands with soap while singing a song.

She tweeted, "I accept the #SafeHands challenge @DrTedros . One of the main takeaways from our IG live yesterday was the importance of washing your hands properly. It’s a simple action that can help save lives..."

She has further nominated actress Kate Bosworth, American comedian-actress-writer Mindy Kaling, her singer husband Nick Jonas, her actress sister Parineeti Chopra and acting legend Amitabh Bachchan for the challenge.

Earlier Priyanka, a popular face in Hollywood now after reigning in Bollywood, had urged people to embrace Namaste, the Indian culture of greeting people by folding hands, to fight the Coronavirus.
