Deepika Padukone enjoys 'homework' for Chhapaak

Mumbai, Apr 2 (IBNS): The only homework which actress Deepika Padukone has enjoyed is related to her next Bollywood project Chhapaak.

On Instagram, Padukone shared an image where the script of the film could be seen along with a pencil, rubber and highlighter. The actress is surely busy in going through the script.

Chhapaak, which will be directed by Meghna Gulzar, is the story of acid-attack victim Laxmi Agarwal.

Agarwal will be essayed by Padukone onscreen. Actor Vikrant Massey also features in the film.

Padukone's look as Agarwal in the film has already been released.

This is the first project where Padukone and Gulzar are working together. Gulzar's 2018 film Raazi, which starred actress Alia Bhatt, was a big hit.

Padukone, now a senior Bollywood actress after being in the movie business for over 11 years, is also co-producing Chhapaak, which is slated to hit the big screens on Jan 10, 2020.
