Kolkata/IBNS: The poster of Bengali film superstar Dev starrer Raghu Dakat was unveiled by the makers on Thursday.

The film is directed by Dhrubo Banerjee.

The poster features Dev, in a never-before-seen avatar, taking on the mantle of Raghu Dakat, the outlaw whose name once thundered across Bengal, blurring the lines between fear and reverence.

In this look, Raghu charges forward on horseback, eyes blazing, weapon raised, a man driven by vengeance, bound by destiny, and destined to become myth.

Also written by Dhrubo Banerjee, Raghu Dakat narrates the mythical tale of a savior who emerged during the 18th century, a period of great turmoil and unrest.

Dev, whose last film Khadaan was a massive success, had earlier collaborated with Dhrubo Banerjee for Golondaaj.

The teaser of the film will be released digitally on Friday.

Presented by SVF Entertainment and Dev Entertainment Ventures, Raghu Dakat gallops into theatres this Puja 2025.
