The makers of the upcoming Kannada film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups on Saturday unveiled the first look of actress Tara Sutaria from the film.

In the first-look poster, Tara is seen donning an off-shoulder gown while holding a gun, hinting at her fierce and unconventional character.

“Introducing #TaraSutaria as REBECCA in A Toxic Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups,” production house KVN Productions wrote while sharing the poster on X.

Toxic, which stars Kannada superstar Yash in a pivotal role, is slated for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026.

The release coincides with major festivals such as Gudi Padwa, Ugadi and Eid, positioning the film for a strong holiday weekend opening.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the action drama is set in a dark and gritty world shaped by crime, power and revenge.

The film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, and will also be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

Apart from Yash and Tara Sutaria, Toxic features an ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani and Huma Qureshi.
