Hoichoi unveils trailer of Anirban Chakrabarti starrer Puro Puri Eken

Kolkata/IBNS: Popular Bengali streaming platform Hoichoi has unveiled the trailer of Anirban Chakrabarti starrer web series Puro Puri Eken.

The thrilling murder mystery is set against the vibrant cultural backdrop of Puri.

The trailer teases a perfect blend of suspense and humor, showcasing Puri’s stunning sea beaches, iconic cultural landmarks, and the dramatic world of Kathakali. Packed with gripping moments, it promises twists, turns, and Eken’s signature wit.

When eerie phone calls to Kathakali dancer Paramita spiral into a string of murders, Eken Babu, with his loyal partners Bapi and Pramatha, must unravel a web of secrets to catch the killer. Between solving crimes, Eken’s quirky Oriya accent and love for food add his signature charm to this roller-coaster journey.

Directed by Joydeep Mukherjee and adapted from Sujan Dasgupta's novel, Puro Puri Eken features Anirban Chakrabarti as Eken Babu, alongside Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, Somak Ghosh, Rajnandini Paul, and Rahul Arunoday Banerjee.

The series will start streaming on Hoichoi on January 23.
