I am very secure when I walk out of door: Priyanka Chopra Jonas brushes aside chance of wardrobe malfunction

In a recent interview with the Us Weekly, Priyanka revealed how she avoids any malfunction while wearing the wardrobe designed by European fashion company Ralph & Russo.

In a candid interview with the Us Weekly, the Quantico star, who is from India, said whenever Ralph & Russo make outfits, "they always do them fitted to my body, keeping these things (wardrobe malfunctions)” in mind.

She added, "So as much as people might think it would be hard to manage, they found this incredible tulle the same colour as my skin tone and sort of held the dress together with that. So you can`t even see it in the pictures but there was no way it would have happened if they didn`t have that. It was like a netting.” 

Stating that she is never nervous about her dress, the Bollywood superstar said, "When I decide to wear an outfit I`m not someone who`s really nervous because when I walk out of the door, I`m very secure,” explained Chopra. “I don`t leave unless I`m super secure.”

The Sky Is Pink star added, "I don`t like wardrobe malfunction! Nobody does!”

Though Priyanka scorched the red carpet along with her singer husband Nick Jonas, celebrated designer Wendell Rodricks slammed the actress saying, "there is an age to wear some clothes".

Drawing ire from Priyanka's fans, Rodricks wrote on Instagram, "Of course not many saw my sarcasm. It’s not for her this @ralphandrusso That said Ralph n Russo are the only American USA designers accepted by the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture Francaise. Their work is exquisite."

Later, he again wrote on Instagram, "For all those that said some really nasty things about me body shaming, here is my retort. Did I say anything about her body? No. Many women did. I just said the dress was wrong for her despite it being couture. It was more dress shaming than body shaming. Stop this sermon from high and read the post before you speak. There is an age to wear some clothes...."

Though Priyanka did not pay much hid to her criticisms, she found support in actress Suchitra Krishnamoorthi who slammed Rodricks in a long Instagram post.

An excerpt of the post reads, "Was so upset to see this post on insta by Wendel Rodrigues who's work I otherwise have a modicum of respect for. I think the fact that Priyanka is not trying to hide her belly with her clutch is what makes this pic so beautiful.

Makes her the rockstar she is. Her confidence an inspiration to every woman.Women have been so enslaven by men's opinion of how women should look this photograph of Priyanka to me at the world's most publicized event is the height of liberation."
