'Imagine Dragons' to compose for Transformers: Age of Extinction
The collaboration is for their original composition titled ‘Battle Cry’, a part of the soundtrack for the movie.
A power packed video with intense scenes from the movie has also been released.
It announces the much awaited performance by ‘Imagine Dragons’ of their new single and a Live concert at the World Premiere of Transformers: Age of Extinction in Hong Kong, which is also one of the locations in the movie, on June 19.
The video shows Transformers and the cast as they get ready for war.
‘Imagine Dragons’ consists of Dan Reynolds (vocals), Wayne Sermon (guitar), Ben McKee (bass), and Daniel Platzman (drums).
Grammy Award-winning rock band ‘Imagine Dragons’ is one of the 2013’s breakout artists, having played to sold-out audiences in North America, South America, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Rolling Stone proclaimed Imagine Dragons “the biggest breakout of the year” and Entertainment Weekly called 2013 the “Year of the Dragons.”
Transformers: Age of Extinction revolves around a mechanic and his daughter as they make a discovery that brings down Autobots and Decepticons - and a paranoid government official - on them.
Starring Mark Wahlberg, the action packed film is directed by Michael Bay and also stars Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci, among others.
Presented by Paramount Pictures, Transformers: Age of Extinction is slated to release on June 27. The film will be released by Viacom18 Motion Pictures in India.
