India's censor board bans 'Fifty Shades of Grey'
Mumbai, Mar 6 (IBNS): India's Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has banned the release of 'Fifty Shades of Grey' in India.
The film is an adaptation of the best-selling 2011 novel and stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson as a couple in a sadomasochistic relationship.
India's Censor Board banned the film due to its sexually explicit content.
However, Variety reported that following its release on February 14 worldwide, Fifty Shades of Grey was one of the most downloaded films online.
