Kannada film Kantara latest south Indian film to rule box office

Kantara, written, directed and acted by Rishab Shetty, is an action thriller film.

Starring Shetty and Kishore in the lead, the film has earned positive reviews both from critics as well as from the Twitterati, giving a tough competition to Bollywood, which was widely perceived as the biggest representation of the Indian film industry not too long ago.

One Ravi Gupta tweeted, "I think it has happened after a long time when a film has become an emotion of the people! Kantara, which is set to become one of the highest grossing Kannada film, was released Sept 30.
