Karan Johar shares heartfelt message on Shah Rukh Khan's 54th birthday
Mumbai/IBNS: Filmmaker-actor Karan Johar, known to be a close friend of Shah Rukh Khan, shared a heartfelt message on the occasion of the Bollywood superstar's 54th birthday.
Sharing a few old pictures on Instagram, Karan shared a message which reads, "Happy birthday Bhai @iamsrk.... Am not sure words are the best way to describe certain relationships...specially those that have such powerful silences...you have always been such a tremendous influence in my life!
Like the best preacher teacher i have had the honour of calling my family...my journey with you will always be the best phase of my career and life and there is still so much more to come...thank you for being you...thank you for always being there for mom and me and now our little ones...thank you for being my fathers best friend and my older brother for life!!! I love you more than you will ever know....â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸"

Khan was the lead in Karan's directorial debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The superstar was a part of a number of films directed by Karan including Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, My Name Is Khan.
Actress Kajol, whose pairing with Khan was almost immortalised in Bollywood by fans, termed the actor as "sweet friend".
"Happy happy birthday to my sweet friend. To many more smiles like this ! Have a wonderful day.." Kajol, who has been a part of multiple films with Khan, said.
Khan's Dear Zindagi co-actor Alia Bhatt wished him saying, "Happy birthday my dearest one."
Preity Zinta, who had entertained the audience with Khan in Veer Zaara, tweeted, "Happy Birthday @iamsrk From Dil Se till now u never cease to amaze me.I always learn something new when ur around. All I wanna say is ThankU 4 ur big heart,ur madness,the way u inspire me & 4ur wicked sense of humour.Wish u loads of love, happiness,success & good health always."
Khan, who has been the Hindi film industry for almost 30 years, is now careful in choosing scripts and roles after the commercial failure of 2018 film Zero. The film had also didn't earn critical appreciations.
