Kolkata, Nov 20 (IBNS): As the 22nd Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) came to an end on Friday, a Kolkata-based NGO- Desham- is all set to organize the second edition of Kolkata International Wildlife and Environment Film Festival (KIWEFF) in December.

Starting on Dec 2, the film festival, focusing on nature, wildlife and environment, will be continued till Dec 4.

As many as 200 films on environment from several countries will be screened across ten theatres in the city.

"The three-day-long festival will have six categories this year- feature film, short film, animation film, documentaries, public service announcements and a students category film," director of the film fest, Aditya Mukherjee, told IBNS.

"We are not conscious about investors and their investments. Our basic concentrations behind this festival are awareness enhancement, environment protection and wildlife protection," Mukherjee added.
