Kolkata/IBNS: The release of Tollywood superstar Dev's much-awaited Bengali film Raghu Dakat was announced by the makers- SVF and Dev Entertainment Ventures- on Wednesday on the occasion of the New Year 2025.

The film, which will be directed by Dhrubo Banerjee, will hit the big screens in Durga Puja 2025.

A cinematic extravaganza that transcends storytelling and celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Bengal, Raghu Dakat got its poster unveiled on Wednesday.

Also written by Dhrubo Banerjee, Raghu Dakat narrates the mythical tale of a savior who emerged during the 18th century, a period of great turmoil and unrest.

The poster offers a glimpse into the look of Dev as Raghu Dakat that showcases the intensity and scale of this epic adventure, as the fearless and legendary outlaw.

Dev, who is currently buoyant by the success of his last release Khadaan, had earlier collaborated with Dhrubo Banerjee for Golondaaj.

The 42-year-old actor played Father of Indian Football Nagendra Prasad Sarbadhikari in the 2021 film.
