Makers release trailer of Jisshu Sengupta's 'Mahalaya'

Kolkata, Feb 11 (IBNS): Trailer of director Soumik Sen’s next ‘Mahalaya’, featuring Jisshu Sengupta in the lead role, has been released by its makers.

Since the first poster of the film was revealed, interest has been generated about the movie among cinema lovers.

The movie is bankrolled by Bengali actor Prosenjit Chatterjee’s home production Nideas.

The movie is based on the controversy surrounding the 'Mahisasuramardini' radio programme.

Actor Subhashish Mukherjee will be seen portraying the character of Birendra Krishna Bhadra in the movie.

Jisshu Sengupta, who has gained praises from fans for his performances in movies like Ek Je Chhilo Raja and Uma in recent times, will play the character of late actor Uttam Kumar in the film.
