Kolkata/IBNS: The trailer of Yash Daasguptaa and Nussrat Jahan starrer Bengali film Mentaaal was unveiled by the makers on Monday.

The trailer, which promises the film will be a sole entertainer, shows Yash as a cop on a mission to fight against the misdeeds while Nussrat is his romantic interest.

Yash's action sequences, romance with Nussrat and sharp dialogues keep the 2:59-minute trailer engaging.

Apart from Yash and Nussrat, a Tollywood power couple, the film features Sayantani Ghosh in a significant role while politician Madan Mitra comes up as a surprise in the trailer.

The first look of the film, which is directed by Baba Yadav, was unveiled by the makers in late December 2023.

'Ki Ekkhan Gaan Banaise', a dance number from the film, was earlier released by the makers.

'Mentaaal' is set to be a mainstream film, which is rare in the Bengali film industry in recent times.

The film, which will be the first project by YD Films, a production house launched by Yash and Nussrat, will hit the big screens in 2024.
