‘Mom and Dad’: ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ actor Kashmira Irani announces pregnancy at 40 with husband Akshat Saxena
Mumbai/IBNS: Main Vaapas Aaunga actor Kashmira Irani has announced her pregnancy with her husband, Akshat Saxena, in a joint social media post.
The 40-year-old actor shared the news through a playful picture of two coconuts wearing caps labelled “Mom” and “Dad”, accompanied by the caption, “Current Status.”
The announcement marks a new chapter for the couple, who tied the knot in February 2024. This will be their first child.
Who is Akshat Saxena?
Akshat Saxena was a Delhi-based pilot when his relationship with Kashmira became public. He has since ventured into acting and recently made his screen debut with Operation Safed Sagar.
Kashmira and Akshat's royal wedding
Kashmira and Akshat got married on February 10, 2024, in an intimate, royal-themed ceremony in Ranthambore, Rajasthan.
The wedding celebrations were held over several days, with the couple choosing Ranthambore partly because of Akshat's love for wildlife.
Their wedding brought together close family members and friends for a private celebration against the backdrop of Rajasthan's heritage and wilderness.

Kashmira has worked across television, films and other entertainment projects. She is known for shows and films including Amber Dhara, Dharmakshetra, Dosti... Yaariyan... Manmarziyan and Rangoon, apart from her recent work in Main Vaapas Aaunga.
