Mrunal Thakur set to make Cannes Film Festival debut

Mumbai/IBNS: Indian actor Mrunal Thakur, popularly known for films Love Sonia, Super 30, Sita Ramam, is set to make her debut at the Cannes Film Festival this year, media reports said.

The actor will walk the red carpet in the film festival, which is an annual event at Cannes, France.

Mrunal will be among many international celebrities who will walk the red carpet at the event.

She will join the list of Bollywood actors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Vidya Balan who had earlier graced the Cannes Film Festival.

The festival will run from May 16 to May 27.

Mrunal is currently filming for a south Indian film project, titled Nani 30.

She was last seen in a special dance number alongside Akshay Kumar in Hindi film Selfiee and was a lead actor alongside Aditya Roy Kapur in Gumraah.

Mrunal, who gained fame first as a television actor, has upcoming films like Pooja Meri Jaan, Pippa in her kitty.
