Newton makes strong response at Box Office on Saturday

Mumbai, Sept 24 (IBNS): India's official entry to the Oscar-Newton- made a strong impact at the Box Office on Saturday with the movie earning Rs. 3.48 crores in two days.

"#Newton shows REMARKABLE 162.5% GROWTH on Sat... Fri 96 lakhs, Sat 2.52 cr. Total: ₹ 3.48 cr. India biz," film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Directed by Amit Masurkar, Newton stars Rajkummar Rao as the titular character, alongside Anjali Patil, Pankaj Tripathi and Raghubir Yadav.

The movie has received positive reviews from critics and audience alike.

The movie earned Rs. 96 lakhs on Friday.
