Pocket Gangster director chases Hollywood actor Madhur Mittal on the sets

Mumbai, Oct 11 (IBNS) Have not we heard a lot of stories in Bollywood regarding directors waiting at studios for a narration of their one-liner to the A-list stars, many a times?

Yes, this time when Pocket Gangsters director Hemant Nilim Das wanted Madhur Mittal’s date for his film Pocket gangsters, Hemant did not stop himself in doing the unthinkable!

He took a flight to South Africa!

He arrived on the sets of Kidnap And Ransom, a Hollywood TV series set in South Africa, where Madhur was shooting as main lead along with Hollywood actors like Trevor Eve who returned as international hostage negotiator Dominic King. Madhur mittal was playing the kidnapper Anwar Razdan who kidnapped many passengers trapped in a bus.

On the set, Madhur Mittal was so impressed with director Hemant when he found similarity to his story along the famous TV series that he immediately said ‘yes’ to be a part of Hemant’s film!

But, the icing on the cake was when Madhur came to know that Hemant’s film was an UNCUT kidnapping thriller!

This was a whole new concept for him! The whole of the Hollywood crew became curious on this debut director’s concept of making a Hindi uncut feature film and became holistically highly appreciative of what a path-breaking cinema he would have curved out in future!

Pocket Gangsters is a high octane thriller flick directed by Hemant Nilim Das and produced by Vikram M Shah. The movie stars Raghubir Yadav, Vijay Raaz and Shivangi Mehra and is slated to release later this year under the banner Ciemme Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.
