Popular Bhojpuri actor Akanksha Dubey found dead in UP hotel room; suicide suspected
Varanasi (UP): Popular Bhojpuri model-turned-actor Akanksha Dubey was found dead in a Varanasi hotel room, media reports said.
The 25-year-old's death is suspected to be a suicide, according to the police.
Akanksha Dubey was found hanging in her hotel room by the hotel staff, who notified the police.
The police have sent her body for a post-mortem examination.
"The prima facie report suggests it might be a case of suicide. But we have to wait for the post-mortem report to be sure of the cause of the death," a senior police officer was quoted as saying by the media.
Akanksha Dubey had a huge following on Instagram and her videos garnered thousands of likes.
