Priyanka Chopra wins hearts as she grabs People’s Choice Awards

Los Angeles, Jan 7 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra added one more feather to the crown as she grabbed the 'Favourite Actress in a New TV series' title at the People’s Choice Awards (PCA) 2016 for her performance in American TV series Quantico.

Chopra thanked voters and called her 'fortunate' after receiving the award.

"I am so fortunate!Thank U to everyone who voted for me at the #PCAs! My #PCManiacs-I am nothing without you!Big love" Chopra, who was last seen in Bollywood movie 'Bajirao Mastani',tweeted.

Chopra is playing the character of a rookie FBI recruit  Alex Parrish in the show.

She is said to be the South Asian actress to grab the prestigious People’s Choice award.

Bollywood actress Nimrat Kaur congratulated Chopra and tweeted: "BRILLIANT and so incredibly well deserved!So so proud of this tigress!!A first of many more to go @priyankachopra "
