Priyanka Chopra's grandmother passes away

Mumbai, June 3 (IBNS): Actress Priyanka Chopra's grandmother died on Friday, media reports said.
"It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs Madhu Jyotsna Akhouri, our beloved grandmother, freedom fighter, social activist, MLA, amongst other things. She was an amazing woman who lived a full life, filled with purpose and love," Priyanka Chopra said in a statement available with media.
 
"She left us in her sleep, surrounded by her family and loved ones," she said.
 
Priyanka recently returned to Mumbai after wrapping up the shooting schedule of her Hollywood film Baywatch in the US.
