Salman Khan's father Salim Khan joins Twitter

Mumbai, Mar 30 (IBNS): Scriptwriter Salim Khan has joined micro-blogging site Twitter.

His son Salman Khan welcomed him in the world of micro-blogging and tweeted: "Luv u dad, wlcm to twitter @luvsalimkhan."

Salim Khan's Twitter handle is now being followed by 16.9 millions netinzens.

Salim Khan's first three tweets were on RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's statement on 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' as he posted: "Mohan Bhagwat has said we have to create an India so great that people will themselves say Bharat Mata Ki Jai."

"Salaam Bhagwat Saab! Lot of people say with pride that they haven't changed. That means they are not growing," Salim Khan said.

"change is growth. Bharat Mata Ki Jai. -Luv, Salim Khan," read his last tweet.
