Salman Khan's Sultan hits silver screen

Mumbai, July 6 (IBNS): Superstar Salman Khan, who is known for creating a record with his films at the Box Office on Eid, is back this year with the release of Sultan on Wednesday.

Salman is playing the character of a wrestler in the movie.

He will be seen romancing actress Anushka Sharma in the film that is being considered as the biggest release on Eid this year.

Film critics have already started giving a thumbs up for the movie.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "Finally... RESPITE for the Hindi film industry... #Sultan takes a GIGANTIC start at the BO... This one's gonna be a HUGEEEE opener!"

Popular film critic Anupama Chopra posted her reaction on Twitter and said: "So the husband says that my body language changes when I enjoy a film & generally everything becomes sunnier at the Chopra abode!! #Sultan."


Film trade analyst Komal Nahta said: " IT IS HUGE HUGE HUGE! That's #Sultan. Unstoppable tsunami from Salman Khan this Eid. Let the celebrations begin!!!"

Even Bollywood liked Salman and his Sultan avatar and shared their thoughts on Twitter.

Actor Sidharth Malhotra tweeted: "@BeingSalmanKhan like never before and @AnushkaSharma convincing as ever,power pack emotional journey thoroughly enjoyed #sultan."

Actress Sneha Ullal said: "No more waiting #Sultan is here."

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai said he feels the movie will break all records.

"Sultan @BeingSalmanKhan will Break all time records- a brilliant sport film well made with great performances by Salman khan @AnushkaSharma ," Ghai said.

Actor Anupam Kher tweeted: "SULTAN is TERRIFIC. In every department. Another heartfelt & superb performance by @BeingSalmanKhan. @AnushkaSharma rocks. BLOCKBUSTER.:)"

Another filmmaker Kabir Khan, who has worked with Salman Khan in producing hit films, posted: "#Sultan delivers a solid punch... A strong Emotional core that really moves you... @BeingSalmanKhan is at his best @AnushkaSharma is super."

Actress Huma Qureshi remarked: "Saw #Sultan .. it's going be hugeeee!! what a film @BeingSalmanKhan @AnushkaSharma @aliabbaszafar @khanarpita @Shanoozeing."

Filmmaker Karan Johar said: "@BeingSalmanKhan is brilliant and career best!!! @AnushkaSharma tugs at your heart strings!!! @aliabbaszafar masterfully directs #Sultan.@YRF and the industry need to celebrate the box office hurricane #sultan ."
Actress Dia Mirza tweeted: "WOW #Sultan!!!This is going to be UNSTOPPABLE. Patak diyaCongratulations @aliabbaszafar @BeingSalmanKhan @AnushkaSharma @yrf #TeamSultan."
