Mumbai: Actress Sara Ali Khan recently penned down an emotional note on Instagram after completing shooting for her upcoming movie Ae Watan Mere Watan.

She shared several images from the set of the movie on Instagram for her fans.

" Thank you Kannan sir for choosing me to portray this powerful character; a true personification of strength, dignity and passion. Some parts stay etched in our souls, and I know I will carry this one with me forever..Jai Bholenath," she wrote on Instagram.

Some of the images which Sara shared online also featured filmmaker Kannan Iyer.

In the images, Sara, who is dressed as the character she plays in the movie, could be seen wearing a white saree in a graceful way.

Sara was last seen in the movie  Gaslight.

The movie streamed on OTT platform  Disney+Hotstar.
