Shabana Azmi appreciates Ranbir Kapoor in Sanju

Mumbai, June 29 (IBNS): Actress Shabana Azmi on Friday appreciated actor Ranbir Kapoor for his performance in the movie Sanju.

"@chintskap What a tour de force performance #Ranbir Kapoor in #Sanju takes your breath away in creating the the amazing likeness to #SanjayDutt without ever slipping up on the authenticity of the emotion. BRAVO. He is ably supported by @vickykaushal09 endearing portrayal.," Shabana Azmi tweeted.

In another tweet, she said: "You will be extremely proud of him.. aur Neetu tto .. khushi sey ro dengi."

Sanju released on Friday.

Ranbir Kapoor is portraying the character of Sanjay Dutt in the movie.

The movie is based on the life of the 'Khalnayak actor.

Apart from Ranbir, the film stars Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Paresh Rawal and others in distinct roles.
